About Me...

With over 20 years' experience in the early childhood industry, I've spent my career supporting children and their families through some of life's most meaningful milestones.

From building connections to offering calm guidance and care, this work has shaped who I am today. Becoming a celebrant feels like a natural next step in that journey.

I’m a proud mum of two wonderful adult children and share my life with my amazing partner here in Maitland.

I'm a people person through and through - just as happy chatting in a cafe or a local pub as I am spending a quiet afternoon at home. I love music, plants and a good dad joke (the cheesier the better).

My Vision

My vision as a celebrant is simple: to create ceremonies that feel real, relaxed and deeply personal.

Every couple has a unique story, and your ceremony should reflect that - not feel like a performance or a script.

What matters most to me is that you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourselves. No pressure. No pretending. Just an authentic celebration of your story.

After more than twenty years working alongside families and children, I understand how important it is to feel safe, calm, and truly heard. That's what I bring into every ceremony I create.

My hope is that when you look back on your day, you remember how it felt - warm, joyful, and completely you.

Why I Became a Celebrant

Working in childcare, I've always loved being part of life's big and small milestones - supporting families, listening to stories and helping people feel calm and connected.

Over time, I realised it wasn't just teaching I loved - it was the relationships and meaningful moments.

One day my daughter said, "Mum, you should be a celebrant, you'd be really good at it."

That stayed with me.

After some reflection (and a few sleepless nights), I enrolled in my celebrancy course - and here I am!

Having lived in Maitland for over 30 years, becoming a celebrant felt like a natural next step - a way to bring together my caring nature, love of people and calm presence.
